YUNICRAFTS — FIELD NOTES01 / MATERIAL STUDY

01 / THE MATERIAL

Every piece begins with a material.

Seed pods, wood, preserved flowers and other botanical materials bring their own shapes and textures. We select and assemble them by hand, leaving room for the differences that make each piece its own.

01

Natural character

Real materials, with variations in shape, colour and texture.

02

Considered handwork

Careful selection and assembly, one piece at a time.

03

Made to live with

Objects to look at, listen to, and make part of your everyday space.

02 / YUNICRAFTS

From raw material to a finished piece.

The character of a piece begins long before the final knot. Each stage works with the material, its shape and its intended use.

01

Select

Choose materials for their shape, texture and suitability for the piece.

02

Prepare

Sort and prepare the elements before assembly. Different materials call for different handling.

03

Assemble

Arrange, join and balance the elements by hand, with attention to how the finished piece looks and moves.

04

Finish

Complete the details and check the assembly. For sound pieces, the natural materials remain part of the character of the sound.

03 / YUNICRAFTS

Three ways to bring nature closer.

The same curiosity about materials takes different forms: an organic rhythm, a quiet object, a flower you can wear.

Natural sound

Seed hand bells invite you to make the sound yourself. Explore the differences between materials and listen to the product demonstrations.

What natural variation means.

A photograph introduces a design; it cannot show every variation in the materials. Colour, curves, surface marks and sound may differ. We aim to make those differences clear so you can choose with realistic expectations.
