About US
At Yunicrafts.com, we are a husband-and-wife team who share a deep enthusiasm for nature, skilled craftsmanship, and the creative process of transforming natural materials into meaningful works of art.
Our story began during frequent walks in tropical rainforests, where we were struck by the incredible biodiversity and beauty surrounding us. Towering Entada vines—home to the world’s largest bean pods—captured our attention with their impressive scale, while the delicate shapes of wild mushrooms and the intricate patterns of rainforest seeds sparked our creative ideas.
Our work follows the rhythms of the seasons. During mushroom season, we hike into forested mountain areas to collect wild fungi. These mushrooms are meticulously cleaned, sun-dried to maintain their form, and coated with protective resin to preserve their colors and textures. They are then crafted into Real Mushroom Fridge Magnets, each serving as a small, lasting piece of the forest.
In fruiting season, we shift focus to gathering seeds and nut shells from the forest floor—always sourcing sustainably from naturally fallen materials. After cleaning, polishing, and removing the kernels, we assemble them into Rainforest Seed Wind Chimes. Each chime produces clear, natural tones, echoing the calm of the rainforest and bringing a sense of the outdoors into everyday spaces.
Among our signature pieces are the Giant Bean Pod Wall Hangings, created from authentic Entada pods that can reach nearly two meters in length. These pods are polished, decorated with hand-molded soft clay faces, and embellished with small ornamental details. A coat of natural tung oil enhances the pod’s surface and ensures its durability, resulting in a distinctive wall piece full of character.
Every creation we make is unique. Variations in size, shape, and detail are part of the beauty of working with natural materials, reflecting both their individuality and the care we put into each piece. We believe that art should connect people to the natural environment and convey the stories behind the materials.
Through Yunicrafts.com, we aim to share the sense of wonder we experience in the rainforest and the satisfaction of crafting by hand. Our products are not just decorative—they are tangible memories of early mountain mornings, winding trails, and the artistry found in nature.
From our hands to your home, we hope our work inspires you to appreciate the beauty of the natural world and the value of handmade craftsmanship.
